Steph Bailey

Steph has worked at Maltman Cosham for 5 years, working her way up from an Animal Care Assistant, to Student Veterinary Nurse to then qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in early 2022. She enjoys her role very much and is excited to expand her knowledge in different areas of nursing, especially animal behaviour, where she has a keen interest.

Previously, Steph has worked with children in several nurseries and was a nanny for 5 years, she is also a qualified hairdresser and prior to starting at Maltman Cosham, she successfully completed her Level 2 in Dog Grooming. Ultimately her love for animals, drew her to follow her dreams of becoming a Veterinary Nurse.

She has a large family and enjoys spending time with them.  Growing up on a farm she loved being involved with the animals and also assisting with the care of lots of family pets including: dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits, igniting her love for animals at an early age.

Steph has a wonderful Dalmatian called Deefer and many guinea pigs who keep her very busy. They love going on walks and finding new places to explore. She also rehabilitates hedgehogs when needed and enjoys caring for wildlife.
