Emma qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1997 whilst working at Eaton and Ferguson in Crawley, before rising to the level of Head Nurse and gaining accreditation to act as an Assessor for Vet Nurse training.
She moved on to Hawthorn Veterinary Surgery in Partridge Green where she stayed for 5 years, during which time she acted as Head Nurse for a period to cover Maternity Leave.
In 2005, Emma started with Chichester College's Brinsbury Campus where she taught Veterinary Nursing and Animal Care for 7 years and gained the Certificate in Education. She joined Maltman Cosham in September 2011 after deciding she wished to return to clinical practice.
She has a dog called Ollie, a Labrador cross who she rescued. Owning her own dogs stimulated a keen interest in canine behaviour and training. Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her family, as well as live music and walking.
Emma returned to the practice in 2014 from maternity leave to become our Practice Manager and will combine this role with caring for her two children.
