Poppy joined Maltman Cosham full time, as our seventh Veterinary Surgeon. Poppy grew up locally in Southwater and went to The College of Richard Collyer to study A levels, before starting her Veterinary Surgeon qualification at University Liverpool Veterinary School. During her studies she has developed a keen interest in small animal cardiology, and undertook her elective in the cardiology department at university. Previously she worked as a kennel nurse at Anderson Abercromby Orthopaedic Referrals for a year and volunteered as a home inspector for the RSPCA. Poppy has spent a lot of time here at Maltman Cosham Veterinary Clinic, undertaking work experience as part of her training and has been gaining experience across all areas of veterinary expertise. She recently graduated in 2017 and in addition was awarded the Northwest BSAVA Student award. We are delighted to welcome her to our existing team. In her spare time, Poppy enjoys dance, running and spending time walking her rescue cross breed Betty.
