Sophie has always had a passion for animals and has dreamed of working with them in a veterinary setting from a very young age. In September 2018, she began pursuing that dream and is currently a Student Veterinary Nurse at the practice.
She joined the team in June 2017 as an Animal Care Assistant having previously spent six months volunteering at the Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre in Sidlesham. Until recently she had two gerbils but she hopes to have many more pets in the future!
Sophie studied English and American Literature as an undergraduate and is still an avid reader. They say never work with children or animals but Sophie has done both! She followed her degree with a Post Graduate Certificate in education and went on to work in West Sussex schools for three years where her adoption of the school hamster, Fluff, lead her to pursue her enthusiasm for animal care!
She enjoys walking in the local area and hopes to continue exploring the world on her tavels with family and friends.
